well... you had me from your first line, hook-line and sinker.
'I love the dear woman who gave me my start'.
All the lines that follow, sing in gratitude in the connection, honouring each of those special female souls who have allowed your heart to sing, and that is precious beyond words.
I wrote a essay a while back exclaiming my preference of females over males for various reasons... I never really finished it, nor posted it. For me, women are, and always will be the 'giver of life' and should always be honoured, regarded with reverence and treated as such.
My heart sends your heart love in the knowledge of your dear Mother and friend/Sister Paula who are no longer with you... and that is definitely the down-side of life. I know they are alive and well, deep within your heart and soul... especially your Mother... that cord can never be broken!
Loved reading this beautifully melodic poem Debi... all power to Women!
With our thoughts we create...
the knowledge of unbreakable bonds.

Oh James, this is possibly the most wonderful thing that anyone has ever related back to me in a review. Whenever someone has something kind to say about my mother, it means the world to me and I take notice.
I love that you relate to women as a whole anyway and you did tell me this I think in info about yourself for your birthday poem. That shows that you have a big heart and appreciate them. Having such a wonderful wife sure doesn't hurt that, so let me add her to my list of wonderful women.
And also thank you for the lovely six stars that honor us all.

I usually as it to analyzie the poem using the following criteria Please analyze the following poems indicating meter, if any, poetic techniques used, diction, theme, tone, word count, poetic schools, rhyme scheme, if any, indicated by letters, influences, and possible forms..
