When you wake, greet Daddy,

“Good morning, Mommy,” too.

A good lass and laddie

Will know it’s what to do.

Then, your teeth, go and brush,

And wash your body clean.

And when you do, don’t rush;

Scrub well is what I mean.

Now go and have breakfast,

And get ready for school.

Try not to be the last

And break that playful rule.

Listen to your teachers;

Do what they say in class.

They are like good preachers

During a Sunday mass.

And when you come back home,

It’s good to take a nap.

Do homework first, not roam.

Later, TV and app.

After you’ve had dinner,

Go get ready for bed.

Always be a winner;

Make sure prayers are said.

All good girls and good boys

Are respectful and kind.

They help and share their toys,

Innocent play in mind.
